The way we watch T.V. has been revolutionized over the last few years. Whereby there was once a time when families gathered around a large box shaped appliance in the corner of their lounge to watch their favorite T.V. program, now each member of the family can watch the same program, at completely different times and through different mediums.

We can now watch programs with minute real life detail, and satellite dishes and cable TV make most TV aerials redundant, and along with it the fuzzy pictures that used to cross our screens when the wind was in the wrong direction.

But now we are not even tied to watching TV on a TV set at all. As new technology has forged ahead we can now watch TV over the internet, either in real time, or another time, as programs are usually available for up to a week after they have first been broadcast. With the new generation of mobile phones available, it has become possible to watch TV on your phone, although this can often be costly.

The choice of TV's available to purchase can be daunting. From portables to large wide screens, there is a choice of TV sets to suit every need, style and pocket. In fact, style is now an important consideration when purchasing a TV. Much more so than in the past, and the manufacturers are quick to pick up on this. TV sets are now designed to be sleeker and more stylish than ever before. Customers have become more demanding in what they require to fit in with their homes. Technology is not the be all and end all when purchasing a TV as was often the case. Now, although an important part of the overall package, styling is often just as important. There are now more TV sets in houses and apartments than ever before, even with the advent of being able to watch on different devices. Often you will find a TV in almost every room of the house, showing how important TV has become in our daily lives. As well as watching TV programs TV screens are increasingly being used to play games, including the new and popular virtual games. The only question remains, what next in the world of TV?
